Lucidpress Acquisition FAQ
As of May 20, Charles Thayne Capital, a growth capital and private equity firm has acquired rights related to the Lucidpress product to form a separate, fully independent company to run the Lucidpress business, initially called LPS Holdco LLC. Owen Fuller, who has served as the GM of Lucidpress since 2017, will continue leading this business as CEO.
We’re excited for this partnership and what it means for our customers. This partnership will allow us to accelerate the execution on our promise to make it quick and easy for anyone to create on brand content. With an infusion of additional resources, and our focus squarely on our customers, we couldn’t be more excited about the bright future ahead!
What happens to my Lucidpress account?
There will be no changes with your Lucidpress account. We will be working tirelessly to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Will my documents be deleted from Lucidpress?
All of your documents, smartfields, templates, team organization, and other information will continue to be accessible within Lucidpress.
How do I log into my Lucidpress account?
You will continue to log in to your Lucidpress account at Lucidpress.com using your current username and password or via single sign-on.
What happens to my billing information for my Lucidpress subscription?
Your billing information is securely stored and will be securely transferred to the new company.
What happens to my data? Will it be shared with the new company?
The new company will have the same security standards for data protection as Lucid Software. Your data will be securely transferred to the new company to enable you to continue to use the Lucidpress product and service.
Will we have price increases?
There are no planned price increases associated with this change.
Does this change my print partner for print and ship?
No. We are working with print vendors to transfer existing contracts to LPS Holdco LLC.
